One reason is the absence of skilled litigators and judges. Blacktail Law Student Scholarship aims to change all of that by supporting the next generation of jurists.

The Blackatail Law Student Scholarship supports Montana’s future law clerks, elected officials, litigators, and judges committed to upholding Montana’s Constitution. Your contribution helps maintain balance and protect Montana's heritage, regardless of political changes.
We will award two scholarships annually to promising law students committed to studying and defending constitutional principles. Funds support tuition, books, or clerkships, allowing focus on areas like originalism and federalism without financial burden. This investment helps develop future judges and lawyers dedicated to upholding Montana’s constitution.
